are programs that help out if a child needs to go on a special diet? We don't qualify for wic, but I don't know if there is anything else out there

i dont. BUt if it ends up being a dairy allergy the diet doesnt change that drastically. My nephew was allergic to everything dairy or lactose (dont remember which one). To the point where if he had one goldfish he would have to be given the epi pen. But the are plenty of other foods out there. But to answer your question, I dont know!

there are soup cracker ones that are nondairy that my nephew eats all the time. Thats another thing. My nephew suddenly lost his allergy a couple months ago. And now he can have any food he wants. He had mac and cheese for the first time just a couple weeks ago and LOVED it!! He is 5 and a half! So it will most likely go away!!!

Yeah, I've read that if they don't eat any dairy for a year or two, and they are still young that it usually goes away. Thanks for your help Kim!
