I need a recipe or idea. I'm having Mother's Day at our house this year. I would like to do a bbq. I'm looking for some kind of beef to bbq. I'm not looking for chicken or pork (picky eaters in the family ) Any really good (not too expensive though) beef suggestions and bbq sauce recommendations?

oh my goodness! We are a bbq-aholic family! We grill multiple times a week! But we are cheap, so we get the "cheap" steaks at the store and then use pretty much whatever BBQ sauce sounds good and then spice it up with Cajun seasoning, pepper, Caribbean jerk seasoning. My husband is a spice master! I know that doesnt really help much. But basically season it how you want and marinade it for at least 30 minutes then add the left over marinade as you are grilling! Mmmm, Im really hungry now!

We love to BBQ but we stay pretty simple. Our favorite meat is beef tri-tip seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic most of the time. If we use BBQ sauce it's usually something new we've never tried before. My Dad likes to marinade his tri-tip in italian dressing for a couple hours and using the left overs for basting and that comes out really well everytime. When we can't afford to much we get tenderized round steak it's fast and easy!
