He's not looking well these days. He's pretty young, 57, but he is under so much stress. I think I've mentioned this huge lawsuit he is in. If the woman who is suing all the contracters (even though the problem arose because of just one-not my dad either) wins, then my parents will lose everything they own, house, business, money, everything. My dad is taking it really hard, and I can tell just by looking at him. To be honest (I may be exaggerating, I'm not sure), if he continues to go in the path he's going, I really don't see him living more than a couple more years. I just don't know what I would do without him Please pray that God will bring him the strength and comfort he needs to get though this ordeal.

I have not heard about the law suit before, what happened? Is your dad a beliver? Well about 8 years ago, he put stucco on the outside of a house (this house cost $$$$ to build). The house was finished great, my dad does a great job (been doing what he's doing for 30+ years). Well, the company that put the windows in, put in defective windows, so she has/had a major leakage problem, and she is sueing everyone who worked on the project because she's claiming it wasn't just the windows (even though about 8 house inspectors have said the windows are the only problem) and she wants her house tore down and completely re-built FOR FREE by all of the contracters. Now, she is a multi, mulit millionaire, so she has the $$ to get this lawsuit won. Why she has taken 8 years to file a suit? We don't know. Then my parent's were told that no matter how the lawsuit ends up, the General Contracter is going to sue all of the sub contractoers As for the second question, yes he is definitely a believer. In fact, he has a brother who is a minister, and they don't get along the best, but my dad asked my uncle to pray with him .

Ugh tough situation. Being in the construction field ourselves we know how things can go. However I do have some faith in the court system. I would think that a judge & jury if it went to trial would be honest & fair. If it's been proved and documented by so many...then I'd like to think there's hope. Hopefully he can cling to any ounce of hope he has and more importantly that God will provide. Prayer, prayer & more prayer that God gives him peace during this time.
